Baylee’s story

On July 4, 2015, a tragic accident left Baylee burned over 65% of her body. Baylee endured 27 surgeries and countless set backs as she struggled to fight to survive. Her doctors and nurses fought every day to help her heal. Her parents never left her side as they endlessly longed for their only daughter’s recovery. Thousands of people, including family, friends, and complete strangers prayed for her, and she surprised us all by beating the odds countless times. She fought an insurmountable battle, and she fought with everything she had.
On November 15, 2015, it was made clear that this beautiful girl’s plan was different than what we would have ever hoped for. On that day, the beyond difficult decision was made to remove life support. Our beautiful, vibrant, hilarious, energetic, funny, loving, caring, passionate, and full-of-life girl returning to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Her battle on earth was finished and Baylee passed away on November 16, 2015 at the age of 15. Baylee is now flying with angels, free from worry and free from pain. This girl was the bravest girl in all the land.
